micro:bit monday @ Unleashed Technologies

SPACE IS LIMITED to 15 students per session to allow everyone to maintain a comfortable social distance.

We are hoping that most sessions will be in person but realize that the situation surrounding COVID19 is continuously changing. 
Tech Changers is BACK and offering our new micro:bit pop:in series.  This event is being hosted by Unleashed Technologies.

Who: 5th-8th grade kids who are curious about computers and technology.  NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!
What:  This is the first in a series of pop up classes centered about the micro:bit microprocessor.  
When: Upcoming micro:bit Mondays  ​6:00-7:30pm

Where: Unleashed Technologies 8840 Stanford Blvd (NOTE: specific location and entry details will be provided upon registration)

What's a micro:bit?
What COVID19 safety protocols are in place? We are limited class size. Masks are optional at this time. Policies will be updated based upon constantly changing information on Covid.   Students will have the opportunity to socially distance at a level that they feel comfortable.
Who is sponsoring this event?  This event is FREE thanks to the generous support of Unleashed Technologies and volunteers from Girls Who Code & Tech Changers Inc.

Girls Who Code of Howard County Middle School Club
This out-of-school program teaches girls teamwork, time management, communication skills, and confidence through computer science. Our club provides activities that support sisterhood along with structured curriculum to introduce and expose girls to the fundamental concepts of programming.

Eligibility: Girls Who Code is open by enrollment only to all girls and non binary students in grades 6–8. No experience necessary. 
Cost: Our club is FREE. Donations are encouraged and appreciated to cover the cost of computing equipment, insurance, and activities.
